Friends of Djemaran
Friends of Djemaran was established in 2022 with the objective to provide financial assistance to Djemaran, due to the pandemic and financial crisis in Lebanon. The program aims to raise money, from Armenians and friends of Armenians around the world, to send children to Djemaran's three Kindergarten sections (վարդագոյն/ Pink, Կապոյտ/ Blue, and Կանաչ/ Green) with full or partial tuition support.

Recent News & Accomplishments
We are very happy to announce that we have already met our three-year target of $45,000 for the վարդագոյն/ Pink Kindergarten section. 24 students benefited from this program, by receiving full or partial tuition assistance. Thank you to our donors!
We have launched a similar $45,000/3 year program for the next section, the Կապոյտ/ Blue section (for 4-5 year olds), so that families can continue sending their children to Djemaran, with tuition assistance, and attract new students as well
In January, 2023, Nanor Kaplanian Ekmekjian (Djemaran, Class of 1992) and Anthony Sandrik discussed Friends of Djemaran (below)

Of the $15,800, $11,000 was deployed, leaving $4,800 as a surplus, which will be used to either help cover the cost of students' meals, further cover the cost of tuition (due to the LBP currency devaluation), or handle any unforeseen costs relating to the Pink Kindergarten section
